Pilates is one of the best exercises for building core strength and coordination. The technique creates a leaner stronger muscle mass with a more aligned posture. There are over 500 individualized exercises which allow for every part of the body to be strengthened and toned. My studio uses a diverse series of exercises that range from matwork to specialized equipment utilizing a progressive spring system. Pilates training leaves you feeling stronger, more centered, and balanced. The individualized session is 55 minutes in length.
The GYROTONIC Method
The Gyrotonic exercises are performed on custom-designed Gyrotonic equipment. The Gyrotonic exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements, which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions, with corresponding breath. Each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, strength and flexibility.
